Seminar content:
A distinction is made between immediate, early and late treatment concepts in both the surgical and prosthetic phases of implant therapy. Immediate treatment concepts in dental implantology are becoming increasingly popular, as patients appreciate the reduction in treatment time and uncomfortable temporary restorations can be avoided. With the right indication, the prognosis for implants and prosthetics is very good and comparable to conventional, delayed treatment concepts. Immediate treatment concepts should therefore be considered as a treatment option in daily practice. Digital techniques are also revolutionizing dental patient treatment. Immediate implant placement with immediate restoration in a fully digital workflow enables fast, safe, minimally invasive and therefore patient-oriented treatment. The interaction of the intraoral scanner, CBCT, model printing, guided surgery and CAD / CAM immediate restoration is described on the basis of a clinical anterior case, taking into account the current scientific evidence.
