What will you learn in this webinar?
Emergency situations with children in the dental practice can be very unpleasant. Accidents or tooth abscesses can occur suddenly, with hardly any preparation possible. This webinar is intended to help you find your way in such situations, both from a professional point of view and in the clinical process with the entire treatment team, the young patients and their accompanying persons. The most important treatment steps that should not be missed in an emergency situation are addressed, both in the case of milk tooth trauma and accidents involving permanent teeth. Pain conditions of various origins are also very common in children. It will be discussed how adequate diagnostics should be carried out in an emergency situation and which therapies should be initiated. Finally, a look will be taken at alternative treatment concepts in deciduous tooth caries therapy, as it will hardly be possible to treat every child lege artis. Participants will therefore be prepared for every (un)case.

Highlights:
  • Emergencies in children in general
  • Dental accidents in children and adolescents
  • Pain and dentogenic abscesses
  • Alternative concepts in milk tooth decay therapy
