Content of the webinar The demand from patients for tooth position corrections has increased massively in recent years. In addition, the corrections should always be faster and less noticeable. Aligners provide us with a very valuable tool, especially in the treatment of adult patients, which sets new standards in terms of plannability, treatment duration and patient comfort. Thanks to further developments in recent years, even complex cases can now be treated with aligners - in some cases even more easily and quickly than with traditional fixed orthodontics. With correct patient selection and conscientious planning, aligners therefore represent a great enrichment for everyday practice and also promote networked thinking in general practice. This presentation is intended to highlight the opportunities and limitations of this technique and to broaden the horizons of non-orthodontic colleagues in particular.
