In recent years, various surgical techniques have been developed to optimize esthetic results in periodontal plastic and esthetic surgery. During the course, participants will be introduced to various surgical techniques that can be used to achieve predictable results. PD Dr. Gerhard Iglhaut will first present techniques for covering single and multiple recessions (coronally displaced flap technique, coronally displaced tunnel, minimally invasive tunnel technique). He will then present the NovoMatrix™, an innovative acellular dermal matrix of porcine origin, and explain its areas of application such as soft tissue thickening around teeth and implants as well as possible applications in GBR.
