A modern shade concept for determining shade selection is based on the 3D Master shade system introduced by Vita Zahnfabrik 25 years ago. The determination of the tooth shade is reduced to a pure evaluation of the brightness (value) in 3 simple steps, which allows even color-blind practitioners to reliably determine the correct ""shade"". The lecture explains the procedure and provides some additional information and insights into the fascinating world of tooth shades.
