Content of the webinar: Mini implants are used to secure prostheses. They are particularly suitable for patients with limited bone availability or for those who do not wish to undergo major surgery. The new generation of mini-implants with a new and strong titanium alloy are inserted into the jawbone in a minimally invasive procedure. They provide a more stable anchorage for dentures and often require less healing time than conventional implants. Due to their small size, they are also suitable for confined spaces in the mouth. Mini implants can help to improve the comfort of dentures by preventing them from slipping or becoming loose. They enable patients tochew, speak and smilemore confidently again and lead to a better quality of life for the edentulous and elderly.
