Content of the online seminar
For many
modern treatment methods, the use of an
adhesive cement is indispensable, it must be ""bonded"". Without an adhesive bond to the tooth material and the restoration, such cases are bound to fail. New composite cements with new dentin adhesives are constantly appearing on the market, usually accompanied by many empty promises. Nevertheless, the use of
conventional cements such as glass ionomer or zinc oxide phosphate cement is still indicated in many cases. This course
provides the practitioner with an overview of the various definitive cements used in dentistry, their mode of action and their advantages and disadvantages. Based on many clinical cases from everyday life, the
procedure is explained
step by step,
possible pitfalls and errors are pointed out and results over several decades are presented.
